Future
My prediction about 2012, I’m like 90% sure about this, is heavy solar activity and solar storms.
Also, I hope to be a practicing Brahmin when I grow up.

The next 24 hours
To do list…
1) Two lab reports
2) One pre-lab
3) Six modules on how to use references for research papers -__-
4) Study for a Pchem test
5) Find a new place to live since the lease for the current place expires in 48 hours.
Great. I’ve never felt this stressed, or hopeless ever.
A.R. Rahman’s music keeps me sane. I also understand why people commit suicide.

Guitar
I’ll post a picture of my guitar once I find my camera. I’m not a guitar connoisseur but it’s sturdy and plays excellent when tuned.
I’m signed up for UT’s informal guitar class for $82. 10 classes every Thursday from 6-7, shouldn’t conflict with anything. I just need to practice so I don’t “spew” money.
I can’t wait for all this to...
College I
Now that I’m decently fit and since I wanna put myself to good use and have a good time in college I looked up some clubs at UT that interested me.
I need to pick up martial arts again and stick with it this time.
Having taken stats senior year, this summer made me realize that I’m not as bad as I thought I was at sports. Not to be vainglorious, but I’m probably in the top...
Chinese School
August 6th was the last day I had to volunteer at Chinese School. Sadly, I was just getting a hang of controlling the kids the last few days I went there. Regardless, it’s an experience I won’t forget, among other things it might’ve made me marginally more immature in some ways but I had a great time. Chinese school led me to a realization that I don’t talk to people until...
Musings
I saw Harry Potter five days ago, Yates’ direction was phenomenal but the plot was way too diluted.
I’ve been regretting the days since I quit Karate, to appease myself, I do hand motions I learned in kata to steer the wheel while I’m driving - it’s great fun.
It’s a frighteningly chilling feeling when you know who’s following you on tumblr especially when...
Braveheart II
Braveheart gets me every time I listen to it - it disports me with images of triumph and adds a new verve to whatever I’m doing at that moment. I first heard that song when I used to watch Digimon Adventure back in 1999 on Toonami. Every time that song played, it upended a glorious outcome of events for the Digidestined because their Digimon evolved into a greater being to protect their...

Disgusting
I never really thought about things that disgust me in people until someone mentioned it to me using that framework.
I’ll need to look back at this entry like 10 years from now and see that I don’t become a hypocrite XD.
1. Insecurity
2. Hating parents to an extent that it makes them want to run away from home.
(I’ll prolly have more to add)
Andy Brown Adventures
On the 22nd I decided to go running with Winnie the Pooh at Andy Brown instead of yogurtland. And as you know, Andy Brown is full of Indian kids and parents, white people running with their dogs, pudgy moms and dads wearing tight clothes and speed walking, and teenage couples PDA-ing it up. Highlight of the run:
Winnie the Pooh: Do you think (points at a person walking like 30 feet from us) is...
The Last Straw of my Last Name
I’ve been deigning History classes at a community college recently. It’s a sad outlook but I get my A easily and that’s all I care about this summer.
Anyway, I only have two more weeks left and the teachers there still can’t say my last name properly. My professors are pretty legit; one is 70 years old and reads straight from the book but has the quirky humor of a recent...
Activity
Dear person who has a phenomenal writing style and photoshop/art/collage making skills with epic-looking pictures,
Thanks for motivating me to write on tumblr again. Overall, itt made me more active during the day. Marginally, but active none the less.

Chinese School
I’ve been volunteering at Chinese School the past few weeks. It’s lovely that the kids have attitudes but sometimes they over do it and they’re way sicker than we were at their age.
I’ve been going with a friend to make it slightly more interesting. And since I talk to that person, they automatically think I’m flirting. I’m okay with their initial claims, I...

Gratitude
Graduation is really making me realize how grateful I should be about what I have. I think I’ll write one thing I’m grateful for everyday (not the usual crap that people say) and use tumblr more. Maybe I’m looking for an excuse to use tumblr o.O?
Photos
I wish I took more photos in High School, atleast this year and last year. =/
Comfortably Numb?
Nowadays, I’m perfectly content; there’s nothing I yen for. I feel like I have no standard to surpass since I’m on the verge of graduating. This makes me feel really content because I have no more expectations for myself…for a while atleast. Today was the last day I get to see some people…forever, an appalling feeling if you ask me. I still didn’t get some to...

The Incomplete Manifesto
I need to remind myself of these more often!
enamour:
inspirings:
1. Allow events to change you. You have to be willing to grow. Growth is different from something that happens to you. You produce it. You live it. The prerequisites for growth: the openness to experience events and the willingness to be changed by them.
2. Forget about good. Good is a known quantity. Good is what we all...

Maybe we’re a sect. But what the heck? It is a breath of fresh air to hang around somewhere where people actually care….without really knowing those they care about.
It’s weird, it’s inexplicable, it may even be funny…but it doesn’t take away from how good it feels.
Good point!

Epic fail
Today was epic fail.
I was talking to someone about holiday plans and she told me to guess where she was going. Within a few guesses I gave up. So, she told me she’s going to Nevada. I asked her if she was going there to visit family, but she isn’t. She made me guess what she was gonna do in Nevada. She even said I’ve been there! But I claim I haven’t. I can’t...
Colleges, Shakespeare, Cacafuego, Insolence, and...
Me: I have no idea
Me: why she told me to not apply
Me: she just wanted me to cut out the ones
Me: that are cut throat and [explicit for female dogs]
Me: to get into
Whitney: well, that makes sense...
Me: i know but at that moment it felt like she took my pride away from me :'(
Whitney: well, thou art mortal...
Me: thinks't thou
Whitney: knowest i do
Me: but very little thou knows't
[a bit later, after not getting a swift response]
Me: care to disagree moar =P
Whitney: thou art a pantaloon of the highest degree
Me: oh! you jest me far too much!
[after not getting another swift response]
Me: simply systematizing sentences to 'semble those of shakespeare's syntax scraps your stature
Me: let us settle this in a duel i say!
Me: and let us play O Fortuna while it is in commencement!
Me: no retort, eh?
Whitney : notwithstanding, i was merely replying to a friend's email
Whitney: O, most villainous of all villains! Unhand me, gentleman (that I should call you one is ironic) I'll make a ghost of you that lets me.
Me: that lets you...what? WHAT? I say.
Me: you bescumbering idiot, finish your sentence!
Whitney: thy ancestors shall urinate in the pants of the most beloved
Whitney: for your follies
Whitney: and your foolishness
Whitney: thy marked insolence beseeches you to impede this conversation to whence it no longer exists
[six minutes later]
Me: ninnyhammer, beware! your cacafuego means nothing to anyone
Me: a dignified individual
Me: does not
Me: mention ancestors
Me: nor
Me: does she
Whitney: methinks "cacafuego" is a spanish word, not shakespearean diction
Me: why, yes sire, it is!
Me: i'm sure you know what it stands for
Me: as i was saying...
Me: nor does such a dignified individual
Me: deserve to
Me: stay alive
Me: i shall let the spirits unsex me tonight!
Me: whence they're completely nourish me with ruthlessness
Me: the path to your nadir shall be incited!
Whitney: .... "unsex" you?
Whitney: sure.
Me: fa' sho my frenchified lady
Whitney: i hate doing stats hw
Whitney: i'm not doing it
Whitney: ^_^
Me: that deserves more than a "^_^"
Me: it deserves the kirby dance!
Me:
Me: and i have do something much worse than stats hw
Me: its called freaking webassign
[conversation digresses]
Yeah...so that's how a discussion about colleges turned out.
And I can't believe she used the word "insolence" that's such a Raghu thing to do.
Her argument was pretty legit, except for using the word "insolence."
So who would you say won?
